Today, on a bit of a whim, I bought up big on basic vege soup ingredients.
While we’ve all been sick, I’ve craved some nice clear broth, and vege soup makes a nice one.
So over the weekend, I’ll be slicing, dicing, chopping and peeling a batch’o'veges for some soup. Do I follow a recipe? Nah. Chop it all up, sautee the onion and celery (gives it a sweet flavour) and then lots of stock and all the veges.
Obviously I won’t be making it tomorrow, what with WWKIP and all.. but for sure, first thing Sunday morning, the house will start filling with the aroma of lovely vege soup.l
